Biography

Timothy Napper, a.k.a T-Rifik, is a well known producer, engineer, artist, songwriter and videographer. His goal is to leave a mark on the music industry and he is well on his way to doing just that. 

Born in California and raised in Hampton, Virginia, T-Rifik began venturing into the music industry at an early age. Growing up, he learned to appreciate the creativity that goes into creating music through watching his father DJ at parties and events. This appreciation turned into desire to learn and, by the age of 13, he was producing and engineering tracks for himself as well as his friends. As he got older and matured as a producer, he soon realized that producing was his passion and it would always be an essential part of his life. 

In 2009, T-Rifik experienced great acclaim. T-Rifik branched out and signed with G-Man Entertainment Music Group and We Want In Publishing, LLC.  RocBattle.com had crowned him the #1 producer - beating over 100,000 producers from around the world and winning more than 1900 out of over 2100 battles. From there he ventured on to competing in local beat battles and taking home the 1st & 2nd place titles in those. 

Several of his other accomplishments include signing a publishing deal with The Orange Company, where he has obtained over 150 placements on MTV, VH1, Oxygen and many other networks. In 2011 he received "Producer of the Year" at the Blendzville awards. He's the head Producer/Engineer at Blacklight Studio in Virginia Beach, VA, one of the owners of The Ultimate Beat Battle League, and Co-Owner of 4Lights Media. 

T-Rifik has produced for many local and industry artists. Credits include, Gifted Hands, Wu-Syndicate, 2 Chainz, Crooked I, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T, Killah Priest, Gillie Da Kid, Fred Da Godson, Uncle Murda, Arsonal Da Rebel,  Ave of URL, Project Pat, Pj Howard, Big Will, Aldreamer Smith aka Ms.Peaches (formerly of No Limit Records), along with many other artists. At the end of 2017 he dropped his debut album entitled "Terminal 17." Since then he's had the opportunity to perform on many stages state to state. 

T-Rifik strives to be one of the best producers and artists in the industry. He hopes to work alongside some of the greats such as, Timbaland, Just Blaze, Jay-Z and Dr. Dre.
